    Mr. Lawrick is a seasoned Canadian mining executive with more than 30 years of experience in mineral exploration, corporate finance, capital markets, and corporate leadership. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Magna Terra Minerals Inc. and is Managing Director of Thorsen-Fordyce Merchant Capital Inc., a Toronto-based private investment and merchant banking firm that provides advisory services and financing to emerging mineral exploration ventures.

    Mr. Lawrick previously founded Signal Gold Inc. (formerly Anaconda Mining Inc.), where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer and played a key role in building and advancing the company. Throughout his career, he has served as an officer and director of numerous public mining companies, including Volta Resources Inc., Franconia Minerals Corporation, NorthWest Copper Corp., and Normabec Mining Resources Inc., bringing extensive experience in corporate strategy, project development, financings, and public company governance.

    Mr. Lawrick holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary.

    Mr. Gilbert has over 18 years of experience as an exploration and mine geologist within North America. He has a wide range of surface and underground experience in all facets of the exploration business.

    Prior to joining Excalibur Metals, Mr. Gilbert served as VP Exploration and Corporate Development for Silver Range Resources Ltd. and also ran a successful private prospect generator, developing and vending precious metals projects in New Brunswick.

    Mr. Gilbert holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a master’s degree in structural geology from the University of Vermont.

    Mr. Engquist brings over 30 years of leadership and development experience overseeing the de-risking and advancement of numerous mining projects from early-stage exploration through start-up and operations. He has led operations, technical studies, work programs, permitting, and stakeholder relations as well as participated in the structuring of several financing and M&A deals in the junior mining sector.


    Mr. Engquist was most recently the COO of Western Copper and Gold, where he was responsible for development and exploration and lead corporate development, M&A, and due diligence for the Company. Prior to this, he was COO of First Mining Gold where he was responsible for advancing the development of their Springpole Project. Some other recent development projects of his include Nevsun’s Timok Copper Project, South32’s Hermosa Zinc Project, and Tinka Resources’ Ayawilca Zinc Project. He’s also led various other projects within Oxygen Capital’s managed group of companies where he was responsible for advancing a portfolio of assets at various stages of development through the start of production. A large portion of his career was spent in key management roles on large capital projects and operations within Rio Tinto and AngloGold Ashanti. Mr. Engquist serves as a Director and Board Advisor on other public and private organizations. He holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

    Lisa Dea, CPA, CA, is an accomplished financial leader with more than 30 years of experience across finance, capital markets, and accounting. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Luca Mining Corp., a TSX-V listed silver producer, where she plays a key role in advancing base metals, silver and gold operations in Mexico.


    Ms. Dea’s expertise covers corporate finance, M&A, debt and equity markets, operations, financial reporting, and human resources. Throughout her career, Ms. Dea has successfully structured and executed a wide range of financing transactions, built and sustained strong relationships with global financial institutions, and guided teams with a collaborative and mentorship-focused approach.


    Ms. Dea earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 1997 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia. She has overseen all facets of financial and legal functions, introducing governance frameworks, internal controls, and fiscal policies that support sustainable growth.


    Her professional foundation was established during an eleven-year career with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Since then, she has held CFO positions at several publicly listed companies on the TSX, TSX-V, CSX, and ASX, consistently demonstrating strong strategic financial management and leadership in the resource sector.

    Mr. Wober is a professional geologist with approximately 35 years of international mineral exploration and project development experience. Most recently he served as VP Exploration at First Nordic Metals, leading exploration across the company’s portfolio.

    Previously, as Vice President Exploration at Discovery Silver (now Discovery Mining),  he played a key role in identifying and acquiring the Cordero silver deposit in Chihuahua, Mexico, and advancing it from the resource stage through feasibility and toward permitting, as well as supporting the Porcupine Complex acquisition from Newmont. Mr. Wober previously served as Vice President, Exploration, Canada, at Osisko Mining Inc., where he led exploration activities at the Windfall gold project and contributed to the discovery of the high-grade Lynx Zone. His earlier roles include senior positions with Great Basin Gold Ltd., Northern Dynasty Mines Inc., Oban Mining Corp., Lac Minerals Ltd., Noranda Exploration Company Ltd., Taseko Mines Ltd. and Chevron Canada Resources Ltd.
