  • Mr. Gilbert has over 18 years of experience as an exploration and mine geologist within North America. He has a wide range of surface and underground experience in all facets of the exploration business.

    Prior to joining Excalibur Metals, Mr. Gilbert served as VP Exploration and Corporate Development for Silver Range Resources Ltd. and also ran a successful private prospect generator, developing and vending precious metals projects in New Brunswick.

    Mr. Gilbert holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a master’s degree in structural geology from the University of Vermont.

  • Elijah Turner is an economic geologist with mineral exploration experience across North America, with a particular focus on precious metals exploration in Nevada.

    In prior roles, Mr. Turner served as Senior Geologist at Orogen Royalties, where he was responsible for generating new exploration projects and managing partner-funded programs with South32, Yamana Gold, Pan American Silver, and Altius Minerals. He previously worked as a geologist for Blackrock Silver, contributing to the inaugural drill program at the Tonopah West project, which now contains a significant gold-silver resource.

    Mr. Turner holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Geology from the University of Kansas and the University of Nevada, respectively.

    Ms. Collins holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Association of BC (CPA, CGA).

    Ms. Collins has over 17 years’ experience working in the public sector and is well versed in the financial reporting requirements of public companies and serves as an officer of other resource issuers.

  • Ms. Pladson has over 15 years’ experience working with management and legal counsel to maintain corporate records, coordinate board and shareholder matters, and oversee securities regulatory filings and compliance requirements.

    Dr. Alan Wainwright is an economic geologist focused on precious and base metals with 20+ years of mineral exploration and research experience in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

    Alan completed his Ph.D with Ivanhoe Mines at Oyu Tolgoi (Mongolia) and was a co-recipient of the H.H. Spud Huestis award for his role in the Coffee Gold discovery (5 Moz Au; Yukon).

    Alan was the program leader for the industry sponsored Western Tethyan Metallogeny Project at The University of British Columbia’s Mineral Deposit Resource Unit, where the research team built new geologic and mineral exploration frameworks for the Balkans, Turkey and Caucasus.

    Alan is a Professional Geoscientist (PGeo; EGBC) and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists.

Technical Advisor

  • Mr. Aasen is a corporate and securities lawyer with more than 11 years of experience in corporate, securities and regulatory matters.

    He has been the Corporate Secretary, General Counsel or Vice President, Legal at various Canadian and U.S. listed companies.

    Olen did his undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of British Columbia Law School and is a member of the British Columbia Bar.

    Olen was named to the 2016 Legal 500 General Counsel Powerlist: Canada.
