Executive Chairman
Mark Morabito is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with a track record of building and financing resource and financial services companies. In addition to his role as Executive Chairman of Excalibur Metals Corp., Mr. Morabito also serves as the Chairman and CEO of Intrepid Metals Corp., where he is leading exploration activities in Arizona’s historically productive Tombstone mining district and has recently signed Teck Resources Limited as a strategic partner.

Mr. Morabito has founded and led multiple mining companies from inception on the TSX Venture Exchange through to NYSE listings. As founder of Alderon Iron Ore, he negotiated a landmark US$400 million strategic investment with HBIS Group, marking the Chinese steelmaker’s first investment outside China. He is also CEO of King & Bay West, a merchant bank and public company services firm, and has raised over $1 billion in capital throughout his career. Mr. Morabito holds a B.A. from Simon Fraser University and a J.D. from Western University.

Mr. Gilbert has over 18 years of experience as an exploration and mine geologist within North America. He has a wide range of surface and underground experience in all facets of the exploration business.

Prior to joining Excalibur Metals, Mr. Gilbert served as VP Exploration and Corporate Development for Silver Range Resources Ltd. and also ran a successful private prospect generator, developing and vending precious metals projects in New Brunswick.

Mr. Gilbert holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a master’s degree in structural geology from the University of Vermont.

Mr. Lee is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with over ten years of progressive experience in public practice and in industry. He has extensive experience working with public and private companies in a variety of sectors providing accounting, audit, tax and financial advisory services. His most recent experience comes from the start-up software and technology industry.

Daniel is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) in Canada and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business.

Ms. Paine has over 30 years’ experience as a senior paralegal, specializing in corporate, securities and regulatory matters both in Canada and the United States.

For the past 15 years, Sheila has acted as Corporate Secretary or Assistant Corporate Secretary for a number of public companies trading on various stock exchanges.

Sheila is currently the Corporate Secretary of Excelsior Mining Corp. (TSX and OTCQB), Global Crossing Airlines Group Inc. (Cboe Exchange Canada and OTCQB) and Intrepid Metals Corp. (TSX-V and OTCQB).

Technical Advisor
Dr. Alan Wainwright is an economic geologist focused on precious and base metals with 20+ years of mineral exploration and research experience in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Alan completed his Ph.D with Ivanhoe Mines at Oyu Tolgoi (Mongolia) and was a co-recipient of the H.H. Spud Huestis award for his role in the Coffee Gold discovery (5 Moz Au; Yukon).

Alan was the program leader for the industry sponsored Western Tethyan Metallogeny Project at The University of British Columbia’s Mineral Deposit Resource Unit, where the research team built new geologic and mineral exploration frameworks for the Balkans, Turkey and Caucasus.

Alan is a Professional Geoscientist (PGeo; EGBC) and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists.
